Because the work that costs us money is resolving a record, not opening a tab. Credits are shared across the whole organisation, so the person who builds the audience and the person who sends the sequence draw on one balance instead of needing a licence each. Seats are included rather than sold separately — 1 on Starter, 5 on Growth, and set to fit on Enterprise.
The batch stops and tells you how many rows are left, rather than partially charging you or silently truncating. Low balance is treated as an expected business state, not an error — you'll see the warning before the spend, with the option to resolve fewer rows instead.
Monthly credits reset with the billing period; purchased top-up credits don't expire. If a month runs hot you can top up without changing plan.
Not on Starter or Growth — both are month to month. Scale is where an annual rate makes sense, because that's where volume pricing on credits starts to matter.
Build an audience, resolve a few contacts, and see the whole path work before you pay for anything.
